What the cafe is
Merge Cafe is a single-player game. You merge two identical items into the next cup on the chain, drop a finished drink onto a hanging ticket, and spend coins from served orders on stools, plants, and awning skins. Furniture is a local reward, not a shop checkout. Version 1.0.0 does not create an account and does not use cloud sync.
How a shift works
- Merge two alike. Only two identical items merge. Empty tiles stay open for generators.
- Clip the order. Drop the finished drink onto a hanging ticket before energy runs out. Completed tickets pay coins. Unfilled tickets stall the shift.
- Dress the cafe. Coins from served orders unlock stools, plants, and awning skins on this device.
Cafe street
The map holds 4 shops, 48 shifts, and 12 levels in each shop. Home opens the latest unfinished shift. Daily clip uses the device date. Cafe tasks and a local Foam Festival sit on the same home rail.
- Morning Espresso — levels 1–12. Bean → grounds → shot → latte. Mill generator on the left.
- Lunch Toast — levels 13–24. Bread → toast → sandwich. A toaster generator replaces the mill.
- Dessert Hour — levels 25–36.
- Night Latte — levels 37–48.
The merge book also lists a pastry chain (dough → tart). Levels, generators, and cafe items may change in updates.
Counter kit
Three tools are earned from shifts and are never billed. Version 1.0.0 has no in-app purchase and no advertising.
- Whisk — rearrange cups on the board. Generators stay put.
- Extra Shot — restore 1 energy cup so a generator can tap again.
- Spill Wipe — clear one spill tile so a cup can land there.
Each generator tap spends 1 energy cup. Cups refill on this device over time. The energy bank holds 5 cups.
Daily clip and settings
Daily clip is seeded from the device date and uses a smaller counter than the mainline. Settings hold sound, haptics, an optional local reminder (off until you allow it), reset progress, Privacy, Terms, and About. Reset removes stars, coins, boosters, furniture, and cleared shifts on this device.

Privacy and terms
Level progress, coins, boosters, cafe decor, and settings stay on the device. Optional notifications, if you turn them on, are scheduled locally and do not send order history off-device. The full statement is the Privacy Policy. Use of the cafe also follows the Terms of Service.
